Madrid 's sire is Patagonia’s Vittorio, whose show record consists of 10x ribbons including a First Place at The Futurity and a First Place at Buckeye Alpaca Show. Vittorio’s crias have been on our show string since in 2011. Paternal grandparents are black renowned herdsire Nishio and true black Patagonia’s Querida, a 2x Color Champion with three Blue Ribbons. Nishio was the Black Color Champion at AOA, the 2004 All-American Herdsire of the Year and the 2007 Reserve All-American Herdsire of the Year, plus other recognition. along with receiving an amazing 8x Get of Sire awards. Magic's sire is none other than Snowmass Enlightenment, star of Snowmass Alpacas' entire gray genetic program. His dam is Champion producer, Almost Paradise Farms Beatriz." Description from previous owner: Appy-Go-Lucky, or "Lucky, is a wildly spotted appaloosa whose parents are both appaloosa alpacas. Until just a few years ago, appaloosa alpacas were so rare that an appaloosa-to-appaloosa breeding was unheard of. Part of this was due to the misunderstanding of the appaloosa gene which had been called a recessive, a partial dominant, an incomplete dominant, or even an "unknown". We have learned much about the appaloosa gene(s)... and this guy has a pedigree packed with those that are most expressive and colorFULL. Lucky is the perfect "next generation" for those looking to produce wildly expressed appaloosa alpacas. Lucky has recently given some amazing offspring to some lucky ranches as well as ours.

Grace isn't just top 1% in the SDMC EPD, she is THE #1 in SDMC out of all participating 31,937 alpacas in the United States! Number ONE out of over thirty one thousand alpacas! That translates to a high expectation that she will give her offspring extremely high frequency and consistent crimp along each fiber. Grace comes with a legacy of fine grey genetics. On her father's side, Grace's grandsire is L.Peruvian Lipton's Shazam, an outstanding silver grey male, with 8 color championships and 30 plus ribbons! On her mother's side, Grace's dam is the daughter of Alpaca Knights Ace of Spades, grandaughter of Patagonia's Drake and great granddaughter of Danko, some of the best genetics in the country. Grace's light silver grey granddam still had a low micron count of 22 at 5 years of age. Ace's fleece was an amazing 20 microns at 3 years of age. Unusual for both grey and black.
